Major Renovation Plans Announced!
At a Members' Reception on April 4, WMTCC owner Jim Petersen announced plans to
renovate the course and build a new clubhouse.
The plans coincide with a new focus on the construction and sale of Golf Villas,
already underway.
The course improvements involve replacing four holes on new land, and
rededicating the old space to a driving range golf villas, and a new, larger clubhouse.
Holes 1 and 16 will become par threes; 15, 17, and 18 will be eliminated and new
fairways built. Old 17 will become a driving range.
Bill Phillips of Bill Phillips and Associates presented the new plans for the
clubhouse. The presentation is below this story.
The plan involves the course renovations first, with completion scheduled for
Summer of 2009, then the new club, probably by 2010.
A large aerial display of the new course is posted at the club.

Dear Members,
Effective immediately, ALL MEMBERS must sign in at the Pro Shop desk prior to play. This will help us keep track of who is on the course should an emergency arise and also for our reference of how many rounds of golf are being played.
Also, all members who have their own cart and live around the golf course will have to sign in at the Pro Shop prior to play, which means that no one is allowed to start play on another hole other than #1. It has been brought to my attention that players are jumping on the course, which is interfering with players that started their round at the #1 tee box.
The only time that possibly members can start on another hole will be with permission from Tim. If he's not available at the Pro Shop, you will have to sign in and start from #1.
I feel that this is a way of keeping an even flow on the course so that everyone can have an enjoyable round of golf. We will be taking tee-times starting in May so call the Pro Shop to reserve your time.
Let's have a great year!!

Holes in One!
Two holes-in-one have been announced from the Wee-Ma-Tuk Country Club golf course.
Virgil Paul, 91-year-old member of the club from Lewistown, hit a hole-in-one on Hole 18 on Wednesday. That
hole is 131 yards, par 3. This feat was witnessed by John Barrett and Jerry Todd.
Recently Dave Ford of Cuba hit a hole-in-one on Hole 6 for 247 yards. This hole is also a par 3. It was witnessed
by Larry Ford and Verne Girard.
The course took some storm
damage July 21. Read the Herald
report here. The damage has been
cleaned up, and the course is
